Guest Terms
1. Searching and Booking on Wehome

1.1 Searching
You can search for Host Services by type, destination, dates, number of guests, and more. Search results are based on relevance and factors including price, availability, reviews, cancellation history, popularity, and host-set conditions.
1.2 Booking
By booking a listing, you agree to pay all applicable fees including the listing fee, Wehome service fee, offline fees, taxes, and other items shown at checkout. Upon confirmation, a Host Services Agreement is formed directly between you and the Host.
1.3 Accommodation Bookings
An accommodation booking is a limited license to enter, occupy, and use the accommodation. You may not stay past checkout time or exceed the maximum number of guests.
2. Cancellations, Issues, Refunds, and Modifications

2.1 Cancellations and Refunds
If you cancel a booking, the refund is determined by the Host's cancellation policy. In special circumstances, Wehome's Extenuating Circumstances Policy or Rebooking and Refund Policy may apply.
2.2 Booking Modifications
If you and your Host agree to modify a booking, you both are responsible for any additional amounts, fees, or taxes resulting from the modification.
3. Member Responsibilities and Assumption of Risk

3.1 Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own acts and omissions and those of anyone you invite to or allow access to the accommodation. You must return the accommodation in the same condition as when you arrived and comply with all applicable laws.
3.2 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that many activities carry inherent risks and agree to assume all risks arising from your use of the Wehome platform, including accommodations, experiences, and interactions with other members.
Host Terms
4. Hosting on Wehome

4.1 Host
Wehome gives hosts the ability to share their accommodations with guests and earn income. You set your own prices, availability, and house rules.
4.2 Contract with Guests
When a booking is confirmed, you enter into a contract directly with the Guest. Wehome service fees are deducted from your payout.
4.3 Independence
You and Wehome have an independent contractor relationship. Wehome does not control or direct your Host Services.
4.4 ICT Regulatory Sandbox and Open Hosting
Separate terms apply for ICT Regulatory Sandbox Special Cases and Open Hosting.
5. Managing Your Listing

5.1 Creating and Managing Listings
Your listing must include complete and accurate information, pricing, fees, and all applicable rules. You must keep your listing information, calendar, and content up to date.
5.2 Knowing Your Legal Obligations
You are responsible for understanding and complying with all laws, regulations, and contracts applicable to your listing.
5.3 Search Results
Your listing's ranking depends on factors including guest search criteria, listing characteristics (price, reviews, images), your hosting history, and guest preferences.
5.4 Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own acts and omissions and those of anyone involved in providing your Host Services. You may not collect additional fees outside the Wehome platform except as explicitly permitted.
6. Cancellations and Modifications (Host)

6.1 Cancellations and Issues
Unless there is a valid reason under Wehome's Extenuating Circumstances Policy or applicable law, you must not cancel accepted guest bookings. Unjustified cancellations may result in cancellation fees and other consequences.
6.2 Booking Modifications
If you and your Guest agree to modify a booking, you are both responsible for any resulting additional amounts, fees, or taxes.
7. Taxes

7.1 Host Taxes
You are responsible for determining and fulfilling your obligations under applicable laws to report, collect, remit, or include applicable taxes.
7.2 Collection and Remittance by Wehome
Where Wehome collects and remits taxes on your behalf, you instruct and authorize Wehome to do so. All such taxes will be visible in your account transaction history.
7.3 Tax Information
Wehome may be required by local tax laws to collect and report tax information about you, or to withhold taxes from payouts to you.
General Terms
8. Reviews

After a Host Service is completed, Guests and Hosts have an opportunity to review each other. Reviews must be accurate and must not contain discriminatory, offensive, or defamatory content. Wehome does not verify the accuracy of reviews.
9. Content

Wehome allows users to post feedback, text, photos, audio, video, and other content. By providing content, you grant Wehome a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, store, copy, modify, distribute, publish, and create derivative works from your content for platform and promotional purposes.
You are solely responsible for all content you provide and warrant that you own or have the rights to grant the license above.
10. Fees

Wehome may charge hosts and guests fees for use of the Wehome platform. Service fees are displayed before booking and are non-refundable. Wehome may change service fees at any time with appropriate notice. Fee changes do not affect existing bookings.
11. Wehome Platform Rules

11.1 Rules
You must:
• Act honestly and treat others with respect; no impersonation, discrimination, or harassment
• Not scrape, hack, reverse engineer, or damage the platform
• Not send commercial messages without consent
• Not book services you do not intend to use
• Not manipulate search algorithms
• Comply with all applicable laws including privacy laws
11.2 Reporting Violations
If you believe a member or listing violates Wehome's standards, report it to Wehome. For immediate safety risks, contact local authorities first.
11.3 Copyright Notices
If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, notify us according to our copyright policy.
12. Termination, Suspension, and Other Measures

12.1 Term
This agreement takes effect when you access the Wehome platform and remains in effect until terminated.
12.2 Termination
You may terminate at any time by emailing us or deleting your account. Wehome may terminate with 30 days' notice or immediately for violations.
12.3 Member Violations
Wehome may suspend or restrict your access, remove your content, cancel bookings, or take other action for violations of these Terms.
12.5 Effects of Termination
If a Host terminates, all confirmed bookings are cancelled and guests receive full refunds. You have no right to recover your account or content after termination.
13. Modifications

Wehome may modify these Terms at any time. For significant changes, Wehome will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via email, platform notification, or other contact methods. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
14. Resolving Complaints and Damage Claims

If another member claims you caused damage to their property, incurred excess cleaning costs, or suffered indirect losses, they may report this to Wehome or request compensation through the Resolution Center. Wehome may collect compensation on their behalf if the claim is determined to be valid.
15. Wehome's Role

Wehome provides a platform for members to list, offer, search, and book Host Services. Wehome does not control the actions of guests or hosts and does not guarantee the accuracy of listings or user information. Wehome may monitor platform use and review, remove, or edit content for platform operation, security, legal compliance, or other purposes.
16. Member Accounts

Accounts are available to individuals aged 18 or older, corporations, and joint ventures. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated. You may not transfer your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
17. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Wehome platform and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Wehome does not guarantee the conduct, safety, quality, or suitability of any guest, host, or listing. The "Verified" label indicates only that a verification procedure was completed, nothing more.
18. Limitation of Liability

Wehome's total liability is limited to:
• For Guests: amounts paid to Wehome in the 12 months prior to the claim
• For Hosts: amounts paid by Wehome to you in the 12 months prior to the claim
• For all others: USD $100
Wehome is not liable for changes in Korean government or local government policies, regulations, or administrative actions.
19. Indemnification

You agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold Wehome harmless from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from: violations of these Terms, improper use of the platform, interactions with other members, accommodation stays, failure to accurately report taxes, or violations of law or third-party rights.
20. Interpretation

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) is excluded. Individual consumers may bring legal proceedings in the court of Wehome's jurisdiction.
21. Other Provisions

21.1 Incorporated Terms
The following are incorporated into these Terms: Wehome Host Damage Protection, Rebooking and Refund Policy, Content Policy, Non-discrimination Policy, Extenuating Circumstances Policy, and other linked supplemental policies.
21.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Wehome regarding your use of the platform. If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
21.3 Force Majeure
Wehome is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, strikes, or shortages of essential resources.
