House rules
Although I was clumsy, I worked on this old and worn-out space myself. So, it is full of clumsy things, has a lot of stains on it, and has some inconveniences in using it. Please consider this as a lot of affection, and ask for your generous understanding in advance. - Viva la vida [Long live life] is located in a small alley in a quiet residential area. Since it is a private space, please feel free to use it, but we would be very grateful if you could follow a little etiquette with your neighbors regarding noise. - We are cleaning diligently to ensure a neat and tidy space. However, there are parts that appear sloppy due to poor work skills so far. We will continue to improve our skills by further honing them in the future. - As it is an old building made of wood, there is a high risk of fire. Please refrain from using indoor fire. A lighter is provided indoors to light incense, but please refrain from using it for any other purpose. - When you open the wooden gate, there is a glass door right away. The inside of the glass door is a space where everyone takes off their shoes and lives. - There are indoor slippers in the shoe rack next to the front door. We would appreciate it if you could use them. Please use indoor slippers even in the yard. - Please do not step on the yard!! Plants in the yard are also living things. Please treat me with affection. - A tea ceremony set and green tea by artist Jinwan Kim are prepared in the center of the living room. Please enjoy the tea ceremony in your own way. In addition, in one corner of the kitchen, coffee and drippers are prepared for hand-dipping, and a tea set is available for enjoying afternoon tea. Please enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon tea leisurely on the floor. ^^ - Damage to products (ex. wine glasses, tea cups) occurs frequently. Please be aware that repayment can be made at the minimum price, and please use it with care. - We carry out detailed inspections for damage to internal devices and products every day. If damage is suspected or occurs, please be sure to contact us. - Although the artists' works are small, they are displayed throughout the interior. I hope you have a day filled with emotions with the works. Damage to the work may result in large damages, so please be sure to view it with your own eyes only. - Viva La Vida is structured with a master bedroom and shower room across a yard, but it was a big concern that the yard and garden could not be made completely indoors due to building code restrictions. Even though it is not completely blocked, we made the room cool and warm enough and made it possible to use the shower room without discomfort. We added a floor and a roof and windows to the roof to block the inflow of outside air and maintain warmth to improve convenience. However, the fact that it cannot be completely prevented is still a very big concern and challenge. ** Summer: When the yard is hot, turn on the air conditioner in the living room and blow cold air into the yard through the fan for about 15 minutes to quickly cool down. Also, if you do not use the mosquito net door, many mosquitoes will enter the room, so be sure to close the mosquito net door before use. ** A stove is provided during the winter. Please refrain from using it at excessively high temperatures as much as possible. (There is a high risk of fire due to overheating.) We hope that guests will use it carefully. - Because there are so many lights and switches, it is very difficult to find them. A switch location diagram is provided separately under the TV. The indirect lighting under the floor turns off when you turn off the power strip switch to which the iPad is connected. Hope you have a restful night. - I'm not an expert, so it's a small old house that has many shortcomings and can be cumbersome to use, but I carefully prepared each and every detail. We hope you have a comfortable and happy time. If you feel uncomfortable or have any questions, please do not delay and contact us.
