Introducing the special twin bed space of ‘Heeon 1974’, the essence of a 1970s Korean-style French house famous as a K-pop filming location.
• Private area: The space to stay is one bedroom located on the second floor of the building. You can enjoy the terrace and the view of Yeonhui-dong village through the cool window.
• Common areas: 2nd floor toilet and 1st floor ensuite, large yard and terrace, 1st floor main living room and kitchen shared with other guests.
•Smart shared restroom: Through remodeling, the powder room, shower room, and toilet are completely separated, making it comfortable without any inconvenience even when shared with other guests.
•Location: The property is 20 minutes by bus and 7 minutes by taxi from Hongik University Station. It is a 10-minute walk for regular buses and a 2-minute walk for village buses, so we recommend using a taxi.
• Historical architecture: the classical architectural beauty of the 70's is combined with modern convenience.
• Local Culture: Experience the atmosphere of Yeonhui-dong Alley, famous as a photo zone, hip local culture, and the history of Korea's wealthy villages at the same time.

We stayed at this homestay for 3 nights and had a really lovely experience. The neighborhood was incredibly charming, quiet, and cozy — the perfect place to start a peaceful morning. We especially enjoyed the village-like atmosphere, with plenty of local shops, nice walking spots. Transportation was still very convenient: about a 10-minute walk to the metro station and there was also a bus stop right next to the house, making it easy to get around.
The house itself was clean, bright, and very comfortably furnished — it felt like everything was thoughtfully arranged for guests.
A special mention goes to the hosts — they were super nice and helpful, always ready to assist and make our stay as pleasant as possible.
Overall, a great place if you’re looking to combine comfort, tranquility, and a more authentic local experience.
