'Boan Stay' located in central Seoul is a cultural accommodation facility situated on the 3rd and 4th floors of Art Space Boan 1942, a contemporary cultural art platform based on historical, cultural, and social sensibilities, places, traditions, and spirit.

The views from each room's window vary. It is the west gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace, designated for artists, writers, and cultural workers to enter the palace. Original artworks and exquisite furniture designed and created by contemporary Korean artists and designers fill the unique experience spaces and common areas of Boan Stay.

An attractive perspective where you can enjoy both the present and past of Seoul simultaneously. Based on minimal forms and colors for rest and relaxation, works by contemporary Korean artists and designers allow you to experience the value of art in everyday life.

Additionally, there is a bookshelf curated by Boan Bookstore in the common space.

[Art Space Boan]
'Tongui-dong Boan Yeogwan,' which has operated as an art space since 2007, was originally a resting place for countless travelers from 1942 to 2005 for approximately 60 years. By reviving the unique function of this temporarily paused space, we continue the cultural legacy of Boan Yeogwan, which was one of the major centers of modern Korean literature.

[Boan Bookstore]
Boan Bookstore is a bookstore that introduces publications (exhibition catalogs, artist portfolios, illustrated books, etc.) and artist books by contemporary artists and small-scale creators who are interested in artistic creation and practice. Without boundaries between literature and other genres, we aim to create a space-time where classical, modern, and contemporary works coexist.

[Cafe Boan]
Just as Boan 1942 (Tongui-dong Boan Yeogwan) has been since 2007, 'Cafe Boan' is preparing a new form as a platform-like cafe space where people who love cultural arts, enjoy Seochon, and are based in Seochon share contemporary sensibilities together.

[Parking]
The parking lot is a small mechanical parking facility. SUVs and electric vehicles (EV) cannot be parked. For these vehicles or when the lot is full, please use nearby paid public parking lots.

[Nespresso Machine]
The Nespresso machine will not be provided to guests after September 20th.
Coffee will be provided at the cafe from that date onwards.

[4th Floor Terrace Change]
The 4th floor 43T terrace room, which was used as a kitchen space, has changed to the tea room 'Mongjae' from October 1st, and is no longer available for Boan Stay guests.

[Wine Glasses & Opener]
If requested in advance, they will be provided in your room.

[Damage to Room Fixtures]
All fixtures in the room are precious items of Boan Stay. Please handle them with care.
If any fixtures are damaged, we will request compensation and ask that you notify us immediately.

[Usage Hours]
In common spaces, please refrain from making noise during very late or early hours for the comfortable rest of other guests.

[Non-smoking]
This is a non-smoking space. Please note this when using the facility.
