[Entire House] Seongbuk Stay: Modern Hanok Stay in a Bright and Quiet Neighborhood

Seongbuk Stay is a traditional Korean hanok (house) quietly situated in a residential area near Seongbuk-dong. Bright sunlight streams into the courtyard in the morning, and it's a wonderful place to listen to the sound of rain on rainy days. We've prepared this space to share with guests who wish to experience the peaceful charm of a traditional hanok.

Seongbuk Stay is located close to university areas such as Hansung University, Sungshin Women's University, and Sungkyunkwan University, as well as Daehak-ro where you can enjoy exhibitions and performances—areas where you can feel the passion of young people. Additionally, it's not far from famous Korean tourist attractions such as Myeongdong (15 min), Dongdaemun (10 min), Gwangjang Market (25 min), and Changgyeong Palace & Changdeok Palace (20 min), making it a great location for sightseeing.

- CLEANLINESS: Cleanliness is our top priority as a couple. Bedding and towels are replaced with freshly laundered items each time, and the space is thoroughly cleaned. In response to COVID-19, we carefully disinfect with sanitizing agents during each cleaning, and hand sanitizer is provided throughout the accommodation.

- SPACE: Seongbuk Stay is a newly remodeled traditional hanok built in relatively modern times. All furniture here is original mid-century modern pieces, and all electronics and accessories have been carefully selected—either items we actually use or items we wish to use.

- SLEEP: We use a king-size original Tempur mattress, our personal favorite that we actually use. For bedding, we use warm and lightweight down comforters and 100% cotton products from MUJI. Since these fabrics have the most contact with guests' skin, we've given careful thought to selecting them.

- AROMA: Seongbuk Stay provides reusable amenities including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, cleansing foam, toothpaste, and hand wash. All reusable amenities are from the Korean brand 'GBH'.

- MUSIC & BOOK: Instead of a TV, Seongbuk Stay is equipped with a beam projector. Try playing visually stunning films like 'Midnight in Paris' in the background using the projector for a more romantic atmosphere. You can also enjoy music through the B&O A8 Bluetooth speaker or spend time reading books we've curated. Our small wish is that during your stay, you'll focus on music, books, and conversations with those you're staying with rather than TV.

- FOOD & COFFEE: The area around Seongbuk Stay is filled with great restaurants and delicious bakeries. Also, since it's located in the heart of Seoul, there are many restaurants from which you can order delivery to the accommodation. For coffee, you don't need to go out—try brewing the 'Seongbuk-dong Bean House' drip bags we've prepared in the accommodation. Seongbuk-dong Bean House is a café just a 1-minute walk from the accommodation and is also our favorite coffee shop in the area.

- SAFETY: The accommodation is equipped with a digital door lock and fire safety facilities (fire extinguisher, flashlight, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, etc.) for your peace of mind.

- 2kg compact washing machine, 9kg dryer

* There are 2 rooms total. The larger room has 1 king-size bed, and the other room has 2 single-size mattresses on the floor. Up to 4 guests can stay.

* The rooms consist of 1 large room + 1 large bathroom and 1 small room + 1 simple restroom. This accommodation may not be suitable for adults who need independent bathrooms, but is ideal for families or groups comfortable sharing bathroom facilities.

- Please refrain from making noise late at night as this is a residential area.
- Please remove your shoes indoors and use indoor slippers.
