We had a wonderful stay at Hwadamchae with our group of three families.
The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and full of traditional Korean charm. The private garden and peaceful atmosphere made our stay feel very special.
The host was very kind, responsive, and always helpful whenever we had questions. We especially appreciated the flexibility and the clear communication before our arrival.
Our group truly enjoyed the unique experience of staying in a traditional Korean house rather than a hotel. We would definitely recommend Hwadamchae to families and small groups visiting Seoul.
Thank you for your warm hospitality. We hope to stay here again in the future!
많은 인원이 묵을 수 있는 숙소가 많지 않아 선택했지만, 생각보다 함께 어울릴 공간이 넓진 않아요. 침구와 식기등이 부족함 없던 점과 화장실이 3개나 있는건 매우 좋은 부분이었어요. 다만, 사진만큼 감성적이진 않았어요. 마당이라기는 너무 좁고 거실도 식탁 외 공간은 없어서 아이들이 활동할 만한 공간은 부족해보여요.

I chose this accommodation because there aren't many places that can accommodate large groups, but the communal space turned out to be narrower than expected. The abundance of bedding and tableware, as well as having 3 bathrooms, were very positive aspects. However, it wasn't quite as charming as the photos suggested. The yard is quite small, and since the living room only has the dining area with no additional space, it seems there's limited room for children to play and move around.
Wonderful and so peaceful!

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. I came for a specific purpose and the accommodation was comfortable. I used it as a home base and then booked hotel rooms in other areas of Seoul and Goyang based on the different events I was attending. While the location was peaceful and close to busses, it would take more than an hour to get to my specific destinations so it was easier to stay closer to the venues. On the days that I did stay, I found it very comfortable, spacious and unique. There are little convenience stores and restaurants close by and the town bus is right around the corner. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I didn’t have a specific agenda outside of the area. Very quiet and relaxing home.

The photos were similar, clean, and nice.
However, there were some concerns about staying with pets due to the many fragile ceramics and decorative items.

저는 마당이랑 스피커음악이 좋았는데 아이들은 다도실을 젤 좋아하드라구요
공간이 많아서 지내기 재밌었고 따뜻하고 단독이라 편안했어요
호스트는 매우 친절하고 소통이 잘됩니다

I decided to stay here after seeing the photos and wanting to visit. I also came because I read recent reviews saying it was healing.
I personally loved the yard and the speaker music, but the kids really enjoyed the tea room the most.
There was plenty of space so it was fun to stay, and it felt warm and comfortable being a private house.
The host is very kind and communicates well.
We had a great rest and are leaving now.
