The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and full of traditional Korean charm. The private garden and peaceful atmosphere made our stay feel very special.
The host was very kind, responsive, and always helpful whenever we had questions. We especially appreciated the flexibility and the clear communication before our arrival.
Our group truly enjoyed the unique experience of staying in a traditional Korean house rather than a hotel. We would definitely recommend Hwadamchae to families and small groups visiting Seoul.

I chose this accommodation because there aren't many places that can accommodate large groups, but the communal space turned out to be narrower than expected. I really enjoyed my stay at this property. I came for a specific purpose and the accommodation was comfortable. I used it as a home base and then booked hotel rooms in other areas of Seoul and Goyang based on the different events I was attending. While the location was peaceful and close to busses, it would take more than an hour to get to my specific destinations so it was easier to stay closer to the venues. On the days that I did stay, I found it very comfortable, spacious and unique. There are little convenience stores and restaurants close by and the town bus is right around the corner. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. I would definitely stay here again if I didn’t have a specific agenda outside of the area. Very quiet and relaxing home.
