Choosing to stay here for this Korea trip was the most correct and luckiest decision of my entire journey. From booking communication, throughout my stay, to checkout, the host's gentle care, patient assistance, and thoughtful attention to detail made me feel a warmth and peace of mind I hadn't experienced in a long time while abroad. It completely dispelled all my concerns about overseas accommodations—a perfect and impeccable stay.
The host is truly the gentlest, most sincere, and most thoughtful homestay owner I've ever met! During our pre-arrival communication, no matter how trivial or detailed my questions were, the host patiently answered everything with timely and thorough responses, always warm and polite. And he's incredibly handsome too! Since I was traveling solo with many uncertainties about routes, nearby facilities, and transportation, the host helped me sort through everything step by step. He proactively shared information about nearby restaurants, convenience store locations, subway exits, and travel tips, making me feel completely at home in this unfamiliar city without any sense of unease.
The surprise continued after check-in! The room was immaculate and well-organized, with comfortable lighting and a cozy layout. Every detail was meticulously maintained. The entire space was exceptionally clean—floors, surfaces, bedding, and bathroom all spotless and fresh with no odors whatsoever. I felt instantly relaxed the moment I arrived. The amenities were exceptionally complete, with all daily necessities provided, allowing me to move in with just my luggage without worrying about bringing extra items—incredibly guest-friendly.
The living environment is wonderfully quiet and comfortable with excellent soundproofing, ensuring peaceful rest at night with no disturbances. The room facilities are comprehensive and in perfect working condition, with stable appliances and smooth WiFi. Everything from phone use to streaming shows to checking directions works seamlessly. The overall atmosphere is warm and soothing—returning to this clean, tidy homestay after each day of sightseeing instantly melts away fatigue and allows for proper rest and recovery.
What moved me most was the host's gentleness and kindness! Communication throughout was relaxed and pleasant. The host is genuinely sincere and warm, very considerate of guests' travel pace. Whenever I encountered small issues during my trip and reached out for help, the host responded with incredible patience and thoughtfulness. He respects guests' privacy without being intrusive, yet provides immediate assistance whenever needed—his sense of boundaries is perfectly calibrated, making everything feel comfortable and natural.
Staying here offers exceptional convenience with proximity to subway, convenience stores, and restaurants. Daily travel and shopping are incredibly easy, and the location is truly impeccable.
This stay was far more than a simple accommodation experience—it felt like receiving genuine warmth and kindness in a foreign land. Great spot if you want to stay near Hongdae — the location can’t be beaten, everything you need is within walking distance. Jay was such a friendly, easygoing host, and we honestly had a really relaxing stay. Would definitely come back and recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area!
The accommodation was very comfortable, with complete furniture and facilities. Any items needed or assistance required were handled immediately. The room space was very spacious, and the bathroom was clean and not cramped. The accommodation is conveniently located near shops and restaurants. There is drinking water available in the room, which is very convenient. Overall, it's worth recommending.
It doesn't go for luxury and extravagance, but rather comfort, cleanliness, and convenience.
PS: A small suggestion: please increase the water pressure for showering.
